Cylence™ Ultra Insecticide Cattle Ear Tag

Cylence Ultra insecticidal ear tags control synthetic pyrethroid-susceptible buffalo flies, including organophosphate-resistant fly populations on beef and dairy cattle. Cylence Ultra contains betacyfluthrin, a synthetic pyrethroid (SP) insecticide with piperonyl butoxide, which acts as a synergist. The insecticides slowly release from the tag to protect cattle against buffalo flies for up to 4 months.

Cylence™ Ultra Important Information

Cylence Ultra is effective against synthetic pyrethroid-susceptible buffalo flies, but resistance may develop to any insecticide. Ensure you use ear tags as part of a strategic rotation program for best results.

Dosage and Administration

Attach two tags per animal (one tag per ear) to the back of the ear. Cylence Ultra can be applied using an Allflex UTT3S or LazaMatic applicator.

All mature animals in a herd should be tagged for best results. Calves less than 3 months should not be tagged as ear damage may result. Remove tags at the end of their payout period (4 months) or prior to slaughter.
