Larvadex™ 10% Feed Premix

Larvadex™ 10% Feed Premix is the foundation of any integrated fly control program in poultry production. It is added to the feed and fed to birds normally in the shed. After metabolism, the active ingredient is left behind in the poultry manure, where it works to disrupt the development of larvae (maggots) present in the litter1-3.

Larvadex™ provides selective control of the larvae of house fly (Musca domestica), the lesser house fly (Fannia canicularis), false stable fly (Muscina stabulans) and the American soldier fly (Hermetia illucens).

  • Contains cyromazine, an insect growth regulator that interferes with chitin metabolism at all 3 larval stages of the fly (larvicidal)
  • Can be used in broiler, breeder and layer flocks
  • Easy and convenient to administer in the feed
